I believe he's stated that the coaches have talked about using him all over the offense and not only at RB. He mentioned he'd get some looks at H-back as well. To be honest, it would make some sense. I feel like he's one of the 'athlete' type players with a ton of versatility but no true position.

I hope that happens, having some athletes is exciting for training camp to see where he fits best.

I dont know, smith breaks more tackles in his video then green and shallman combined. More to being a powerback then just being big.

I'm not sure about the league Shallman plays in, but Green plays in a very good league in the Richmond area; very good competition. Smith plays against not good competition. Not that Smith isn't good, especially considering his whole team's offense consists of handing him the ball (and the other team knows it), but it would be interesting to see if Smith could do the same in Green's league.

That's interesting, I have not considered what type of LB prospect Ty Isaac could be. Seems like he would have good enough "measurable" athletic ability to play LB, hgt wgt spd etc. Dont know about the instinct or desire to play D though.

I can't wait till Michigan starts turning out nfl RBs year after year. So elite RBs will come in bunches just like bama

Honestly, I think we're done. Sounded like Smythe's ND visit went really well this weekend, so I think even if he doesn't get admitted to Stanford, we're behind ND for him.
I also can't think of another recruit that we'd target with that last scholarship. At this point, just bank it. I have a feeling 2014 is going to be a special, special class.
