There's some stuff about a supposed visit to ND for him, think that's what star is talking about. Some fans on the USC board "analyzing" Isaac's tweets. Funny how some of them went mad on this board back when he originally committed to USC for the same thing.

As stated in the other thread here, he can earn a scholarship once Gibbons is gone, so I would bet that he ends up in the class. It's essentially a greyshirt offer if the coaches are saying he pays his way year 1 and then can be on scholarship starting year 2.

I actually like this a lot. Best of both worlds...we don't use a scholarship this year on him, greyshirt him, then still get a kicker with a cannon leg to be behind Wile after Gibbons leaves. Between Gibbons and Hagerup (assuming he is welcomed back), then Wile, Kenny Allen and now JJ...to go along with Sypniewski...we have a good group of Special Teams players.

The interview, if people didn't see it, sounds positive with some of the quotes like "It won't be long after I come in that I will earn (a scholarship), though. Once Gibbons' eligibility expires, I hope to receive a full scholarship."
Using words like "will" and "hope to" is very different than "could" and "might", IMO.

gotta trust the coaches but I would have waited for Hunt. I don't believe we needed another guard
