    A GREAT O-line can make a solid RB look elite. For all the changes that have occurred in the game on thing that hasn't changed in football is that it is won in the trenches.

    Exactly and that is where our recruiting under Hoke has been outstanding, and I don't see that slowing down. The great RB/QBs come calling when they get to play behind a wall.

    Shaking my head. Yeah a kid should not take his time and wait until he is ready to commit to a school. It's not like Quon has committed and then decommitted from a school or a couple of schools. It's not like Quon has gone past national signing day to make his decision. He just hasn't committed early anywhere.

    Personally, I could not give a rats butt if he takes till NSD. Stop making ridiculous lists, i.e. top-5, top-3, top-10, etc. every 3 months. The individuals on this board that cry 'he is just a kid' are correct. However, LT's parents should step in and show some maturity in the process, which the teenager lacks IMHO.

    Disagree. I think BH takes his chances with his '13 recruits, and focus on '14. We seem to be making headway with some excellent '14 WR recruits.

    Hmmm ... I thought we were his leader ?? This has changed more times than I change underwear. Again .... I could care less if he takes till NSD, just keep your latest top-x list to yourself till you decide. It saves fans, coaches, and staff grief.

    You have to be kidding. I hope the coaches aren't making decisions on who to recruit based on what prospects (and their dads) are telling the 1,001 recruiting "gurus" from week to week.

    I never said to not recruit him ... did I? I implied he should cool with the 'drama', i.e. Roll Tide, and the other innuendos. It is called 'playing the game', and is rather obvious to everyone. Yes ... one could ignore it knowing it is a 'game' to LT. Then again, one could ask to keep the ;game' to oneself, and announce when ready.

    Last I checked coaches are still after him hard, if UM thought he was putting on a show I really doubt we would still pursue him . Texas threw their hat in the ring, so perhaps he isn't playing a game and just doesn't know where he wants to go. So I think you can leave your list to just fans, better yet fans like u who think he is immature for taking his time to make a lifelong decision. he gets visits and calls daily, and he isn't the first or last to be undecided that coaches will have to recruit until NSD so coaches are cool.

    Oh ... I think he does know, but the school of choice may not be the 'favorite' right now for some reason. In my twisted logic, something has thrown a wrench into his strategy. Seriously, MSU in his 'latest' top-5? MSU? LT is NOT considering MSU with any vindication. Why include them in a top-5? Why include some of the other ones when he has not even visited?

    I just don't understand how grown men get all worked up over a 17 year old kid when he didn't even commit to UM. This is probably only time he gets to do this and taking full advantage. Also you have to remember half these visits are unofficial so his parents have to shell out some dough every time he takes a visit.

    Nobody is "worked up". Why is it that people cannot have an opinion on his recruitment, similar to any other athlete.

    LT recently said that he hasn't been hearing from U of M A's much as he used to. With that being said, clearly they and we still want him.

    Why not Mich st? Of course we view them in a certain light as fans but as a school academically they are adequate. A lot of prospects give high praise to their coaching staff. It's not ridiculous to have them in a top 5. Then when was it a prerequisite to visit a school in order to hold them in high regard? Or in the top 5? UM is a lot of kids top school and many haven't been to our campus either. Treadwell likes their offense and has a good relationship with their coaches. You're entitled to your opinion but there is nothing different or odd with what Treadwell is doing compared to a lot of kids going thru the same recruiting plot.

    Yea I wouldn't put much stock in that statement. I recall him saying the same thing back around May and he came out later and said he was misquoted.
