    The premise I'm going off is if the game were at the Big House, so the JerryWorld stuff doesn't really play into it.

    But even if it did, like if we could have him on campus for the week ahead of it and then bring him down to Dallas with us or something, I don't really think I would want to do that either. You're right about the atmosphere and everything being cool...right up until gametime, where we'll probably be beaten by a fair margin. I don't really want his enduring image of the program to be a loss at the hands of a SEC school that's also recruiting him.

    With the MSU game tho, it'll be at the Big House, it should be an electric atmosphere because its a rivalry and we haven't beaten them in so long, and its a game we should be in pretty good shape to win. I'd def rather have him here for that than at a "neutral" site (likely packed with Alabama fans) game where we lose by 2 touchdowns.

    Meh, and this is not intended as a flame, but no one outside the B10 cares about the UM-MSU game. Even we barely cared about it until we lost it four years in a row. As soon as we get it back on track, it will return to being more of an annoyance than anything else. The sad truth is that we have no signature home games this year. The B10 screwed up when they gave us OSU and Nebraska on the same home-away cycle. Until that gets fixed or we can flip the ND game, our home game schedule is going to be pretty lame every other year.

    Am I the only one that can't access the main board (list of topics) because of the maintenance going on? Whenever I click on the Back to Topics button, I get a "We are down maintenance!" message.

    I had to google this thread to access it. I'm moving through topics with the previous/next topic option buttons at the bottom.

    Edit: It seems to be only affecting Firefox. I can access the main board on Safari.

    been having the same problems. couldn't get on this board or tBB without going through google.

    Don't disagree with this, or anything else in your post, at all. Maybe you misunderstood me, I'm not saying Cravens would come away thinking "zomg they beat **Michigan State**" and thinking that was awesome...I'm saying that the MSU game would be a good showcase for how intense and electric the atmosphere at Michigan Stadium can get, which would be a good selling point for us, I think. If he doesn't know anything about/give a shit about MSU that's all the better imo, maybe he'll think every game at home will be just like that.

    He seems like a Sean Taylor type. He's big, fast, and can knock guys out. I'm happy to hear we did offer as a safety. I never bought that we were offering him primarily as a RB, although he has the skills to be a great RB too.

    With all the talk of bounties in the NFL, touting his ability to knock guys out makes me a little uncomfortable. 8^\

  • Take this FWIW, but I just read on MGoBlog a 'Bama poster who says that Isaac may pop for us this weekend according to some people that are right a lot more than wrong. Just something to keep an eye on. goblue

    Saw that as well. My only question is how would Bama people know what Isaac was going to do? In contrast to LTT, I do not think they are even involved in his recruitment.
