Ehh, IMO; EJ > O'Daniel > McCray > Gedeon > Anzalone. Although I'd be happy with any of them.

They're all great, but I think McCray's rating is more about potential than the others'.

I have to admit that I value Gedeon a little extra because getting him would help shut up Ohio fans with all of their "scraps" talk. I find Ohio guys with OSU offers just that little bit extra appealing. We can't go wrong with any of these guys, though. Should be a great LB haul for the second year in a row.

Gedeon would be a great pick-up. To paraphrase what aquaman said in another thread, he's "criminally underrated".

    Joe Bolden underrated? Or less?

Wormley and Godin could be solid 3-4 DE, but the coaches have repeatedly said 4-3 under is the way

That's because the 4-3 Under is very similar to a 3-4. The SDE, NT and DT are essentially the same personnel you could use on the DL in a 3-4. You just add a WDE into the mix instead of an extra LB that would have blitzed half the time in a 3-4 anyways.

We played both about half the time.

  • A poster on HB said tonight that he knows Issacs dad and knows Dan Sharp, I'm assuming Tys HC, really well. That there is no way in hell he goes to USC, just taking the visit for fun. Also said he's not worried about UM being out stiffest competition. tOSU is the team he'd be worried about the most. Just passing along, don't shoot the messenger.

roflmao so he's saying Isaac's a ND/OSU battle? Funniest thing I've read all day.

I definitely get the sense that Gedeon is underrated. How much? I can't say.

I'm hoping that he attends some camps like some of our other committed recruits to get a better sense of how he compares against other heralded, nationally-ranked recruits.

I'll be VERY surprised if Isaac doesn't end up at Michigan. I don't have any inside info just going off what I have read and seen. And the current class we have is very impressive. Ty has said numerous times he wants a pro style offense Ohio will be a spread.

Well, he's visiting Michigan for a second time in like a month next weekend. Can't remember when he ever visited Ohio (don't care to keep up with Ohio recruiting). He's made it known that scheme and personnel are important to him. He wants early playing time, so he's looking for a team without a load of depth at RB. Ohio doesn't have the O-line, runs a spread, and just took two highly-rated RBs last class. On the other hand, Michigan will be running a true pro-style, have a beast O-line, and have no clearcut feature-back of the future. I would discount what that poster said, Ohio makes no sense. The only way I would give that credence is if Isaac were a lifelong Ohio fan that refused to play anywhere else, which he's not.

To note, there was a poster about two weeks ago that was claiming to know Isaac's coaching staff and saying that he was leaning towards Michigan after the O-line haul.

I know ty's mom, ty's aunt, ty's grandma, his principal, and his preacher. UM lock

See I can say I know people when I really dont too, anyone can say they 'know someone' and make silly statements. rofl @ osu/nd battle, dude is caught up in the urbanhype. The kid himself has said multiple times he doesnt want to play in a spread O, which both of those teams are. Did the guy also go on to say that Bosch would be a domer bc he was a lifelong fan?

I know Ty himself. He's a silent commit to OSU, has been since the first day Urban was hired. He told Ty that all the RBs they took were being recruited as LBs (Jevan Snead joke) sarcasm

For those unfamiliar: "Snead said coach Urban Meyer told him Florida was recruiting Tebow as a linebacker."

I don't think anyone's hating on him, just the post on a random poster claiming to know a bunch of crap. Otherwise, his posts are welcomed.

roflmao I know the game, fool. The poster rarely post and he's been on for 7/8 months. Kind of like when Steven Elmers dad decides to post. Next time I'll keep the info. on the DL.

Is there a reason you are shooting the messenger?

  • I know these guys are such amazing athletes, and extremely developed but they're still 17 year old kids. 17 year olds will make strange decisions on a daily basis, when it comes to something as huge as D1 Recruiting they need to have a good support system or things could get out of hand real quick. I hope Isaac makes the best decision for him, to me it appears that would be Michigan obviously, but he is a kid so ya never know until that paper is signed.

To eliminate/reduce his carbon footprint? Bullet surplus? Target practice? So many good reasons to choose from!

  • My Somewhat realistic wishlist with 11 spots left:

    1 RB: Ty Isaac
    2 WR: Laquon Treadwell,
2 DL: Darius Latham, Tashawn Bower, Wyatt Teller(Favorite Player in 2013)
3 LB: EJ Levenberry, Dorian O'Daniel, Ben Gedeon
    1 DB: Gareon Conley
ATH: Mike McCray, Su'a Cravens(The Dream)

Really tough because we are in good position with so many players. I don't think we will take 4 LB's though, unless McCray is a legit 6'4" and can play TE.
