    Where did he say that? I saw Fuller say he's announcing today and it would air Sunday on TV during Gridiron Kings, but nothing about McQuay.

    Just posted on it. It was a Tweet from Steve a little bit ago. Look 2-3 posts back.

  • Not that hard y'all, it seems like Derrick Green will be committing this weekend and the coaches told Leon McQuay he has like a day to decide whether he wants to come to Michigan or not. The last spot is for Laquon Treadwell.

    Wait, so let me get this right. You had Fuller and LM3 mixed up? Fuller is committing Sunday, not McQuay?

    Because if LM3 was committing Sunday after being told by Hoke that it needs to happen this weekend, then it is panic time.

    Otherwise it is, good luck at VT or Clemson Fuller.

    Green and his mom both said they had "a feeling" when they stepped on Auburn's campus. He will not be committing this weekend. Michigan can pull even, maybe even take the lead with a 3 day visit, but I don't see a situation where they drop everything and commit.

    Then why would the coaches tell Leon McQuay there won't be a scholarship available after this weekend when there is two spots left?

    They are either pressuring him, or know something about 'who' will commit and 'when'. LM III would be a luxury at this point IMO, and not a need. Thus ... why put him on the clock? Something does not jive here IMO.

    Did they really tell McQuay that? According to what Sam Webb said on his radio show, the coaches informed McQuay that they could no longer guarantee him a spot in this class once they accepted the commitment from Ross Douglas, but, they would continue to recruit him until the class was full. That is quite a bit different from what you're saying the coaches told McQuay.

    So he's told first theyre giving his spot to another DB unless he wants it...but they will still recruit him. Now he's told his spot is gone by the BBQ. I think your right. Must be a commit.

    Agree. They just told him they still have spots. They have to give him another call to let him know things might change at the BBQ.

  • Is Tremendous a trustworthy "recruiting guy" though? I have seen him post some inaccurate stuff before, either way I would be very happy to land Green or McQuay, but im not as high on Derrick Green as some others are.

  • Some of you are too far into the forest to see the trees. No chance its Green. Why would he inform the coaches he's committing before he visits? A visit he's taking to find out if UM is the right choice for him... makes no sense. I doubt there's any commit on the horizon but if its anyone it'll be Treadwell.
