Denard actually probably has a better arm than that kid. I know we think Denard is an abysmal passer but that is because every throw is under scrutiny. You have to remember that with these highlights you aren't seeing every throw he makes/attempts like we do with Denard. You watch a highlight film of Denard's best throws you would think he is better than Mike Vick.

But they've already offered like 3 other QBs this year.

Disagree to an extent.
Compare Denard's HS tape to Malik's HS tape.
Both QBs have live arms that give the impression that the ball explodes out of their hands. However, Malik's release is much smoother and cleaner.
Moreover, Malik's short to intermediate passes are like frozen ropes. While Denard can throw well on short to intermediate passes, his throws lack the same zip. Also, Malik has a huge edge on long throws because he can throw them with accuracy + touch.

Ok. Personally, I don't think Michigan will take another QB this class. Bellomy redshirted so the hole in the QB depth chart was shifted to the 2014 class. If DG gets his redshirt, we're cool. If not Bellomy is no slouch and will have been in the the system for a few years by then. Of course, Morris may be ready by then.

Oh I agree with you. I don't think we will, and honestly I don't think we should. We have enough needs to focus on and our currents QBs are good enough that I feel good having 3 (Devin, Shane, Bellomy)

I really wish there was a spot for Berkley Edwards in this class. I know that we don't need another undersized RB/ATH but he is so fast. He ran the 60 in 6.88 sec. In this video of Denard at a track meet he ran it in 6.81 sec.

His family has money if he wants to accept a preferred walk-on spot it's there for him. His dad played in the NFL along with his brother being a millionaire alumni.

Let's just hope none of our QB's get injured...one injury to either DG/Bellomy/Shane after Denard is gone and we will have everybody quivering slightly, two injuries and we are on panic mode. I think that is why Hoke and Co. wanted a Qb from last year, you must prepare for the unexpected.

I'm confident we get Rod Crayton....Poggi or Vanderdoes would be awesome. I'm kinda concerned about Poggi's size at DT in the Big 10. I hope Vanderdoes sees the light and lays off of UCLA.
