    Brogan Roback commits to Eastern Michigan. Huge pickup for English and Hart. Three star to 247 and ESPN, but a four star to Scout and the #215 player in the country to Rivals. Biggest commitment they've ever gotten.

    Wow! That's a huge coup for them. He's a great player.

    I can understand why a recruit would choose EMU. Ypsilanti's actually a pretty cool place around EMU's campus. The on-campus/off-campus nightlife is better than Ann Arbor's. Combine these parties with the 3:4 (guy:girl) ratio, and Ypsi becomes a fairly nice place to spend the weekend. That ratio probably makes it a great place to be a quarterback, too.

    Roback can go into camp with a chance at being a 4-year starter without having to go further than an hour from home. Personally, I think it'll be exciting to follow what he can do at Rynearson over his career.

    Exactly, especially when his close friend Shane says differently, but again why listen to him when you can throw a hissy fit instead.

    wait...what? Half the school commutes, the frat houses hold like 10 guys... you going to hang your hat on the Wooden Nickle and the Vu? The campus is ok I guess but you can't compare it to Ann Arbor.

    Sore loser and bitter? Shane also retweeted the statement that places him in the same boat correct? Oh wait, Shane didn't participate. Perhaps like Shane, Alex didn't feel the need to validate themselves through combine like drills and just made a general statement. No one knows why Alex posted that so its lame to make assumptions and assign labels based on one text.

    Stop, we all know who that tweet was referring and yes it was lame on Shane’s part if he retweeted it. I have no idea if Alex participated in the SPARQ drills or not, but it was lame to hate on the kid after he just won the competition. Even if his statement was somewhat true it didn’t need to be said/tweeted.

    And I generally use multiple inside sources. It's not always just all around recruiting knowledge; ) That goes for luger as well. If either one of us is melting down, we all should be melting down.

    +1. Out of everyone I went to school with in Ann Arbor and all the people I knew at Eastern, none of them ever said 'let's hang out in Ypsi tonight'... Unless it was to go to the Vu.

    I think the coaches see this "camp" in the same category as a visit.

    Wouldn't you? What players impressed everyone the most at The Opening? My list is Ira Denson, UNC receiver Switzer, Hunter JR., Jaylon, Bailey, Elliot, UT commit Robinson, Morris and Hack.. Biggest disappointment OL Golson, Swoopes, McGovern.

    Everyone talking up Mitchell kid and yes he has amazing t-shirt/short stats, but to me when you turn the film on not really impressive. Maybe just me, but you be the judge.

    I know the ship has most likely sailed but is there any idea or guess of where Jaylon Smith would end up if BK and ND ended up going like 5-7 this season, and he gets fired.

    BK wouldn't be fired if that happened, more like 7-6/8-5 with a lot depending on 2013 season.

  • Quite a few pundits think that Mitchell has a ways to go to find a position and put it together on the field... A little banter between recruits is always fun... Pipkins basically called out every Browneye recruit from last years class... Oh well, just means they have to produce on field or eat that crow...Everything that happens off field is just for entertainment IMO...Nice LB unit for ND
