Yeah it could be Green as well, and Ace on Mgoblog said that the weekend should be quiet, but the work week will start off with a bang leading me to believe that the decision is on Monday along with the 48 hours thing on Tremendous.

if you guys listened to recruiting roundup on wtka couple days ago. sam webb hinted that michigan should pick up a commitment from someone we weren't really expecting or stopped talking about. mathis green poggi?

IMO this was not in reference to Poggi, as Poggi has been in the picture for awhile. This would not constitute 'right out of left field' in my eyes. I think SW was referring to someone else.

I thought a poster here stated SW said we may get a surprise 'out of left field', or something along these lines. Wilkins would fit this statement, assuming he has a great visit. I was very over-zealous on Green. I could see him dragging this out till after the season. Michigan would get Wilkins sooner, assuming he wants to come here. Michigan has the luxury of being picky at this point.

Looking at recruiting last year compared to this year and how the rankings didn't move much with the committment of Hurst.
In 2012, Michigan had 14, 4* commits. 11 of those kids had a rating of 93 or higher.
This year, Michigan has 16, 4* commits. 6 of those kids have a rating of 93 or higher.
I believe that these kids will receive slights bumps here and there as they camp and send in more film.
Not sure what point I am trying to make. I am really just talking out loud about an observation I made.

Looks like the two UM commits, Jake Butt/Jordan Lewis, had good days at the Illnois Nike camp today.
But camps don't mean anything when comes to rankings.

I think the original plan was for him to commit after NSD. Something about extending the process to bring some attention to his teammates.

Me too, and that was before the Auburn offer. Will be much tougher now, especially since Aubrun has no other HB commits.

Basically the opposite of Rivals. I think we had 3 recruits in their top 100 last year, and this year we already have 6 (I think), with a legitimate possibility to add 2 more (Treadwell and Poggi). With 4 major recruiting services now, were going to see a lot of variability like this now.
