I don't understand why you want Edwards so badly. Is he a legacy? Yes. But he's a stretch in terms of talent for the offense Hoke is building and we have far more pressing needs. And we just took Norfleet, who is very similar, in the 2012 class. I would much rather see us take an extra DL, TE or DB.

I really think (HOPE) that Treadwell has a spot whenever he wants it. While I think the chances of us taking 2 more receivers that aren't named Treadwell, I don't see us turning him away/stop recruiting him. Frankly, I don't think we can put the "pressure" on Treadwell to commit, but I really like our chances of ending up with him.

That Levenberry spot might be used for another receiver, so we might take 2 more before Treads makes a decision so we atleast have depth at the position if he doesnt come on board. Chavis Rawlins and maybe someone else, then wait for a top tier WR down the road.

I can't see coach Hoke saving a spot for Treadwell. Not after what happened last year. The coaching staff may tell him commit now or hope we have room for you later. JMO

Perhaps the coaches feel that they can slow play Edwards all the way to NSD.
