I have no idea what you are specifically referencing, but if you or your source thinks it is over, I doubt Isaac would be talking about another trip to Ann Arbor if that was the case.

Sorry to burst your bubble big guy but one/thee most trusted Michigan recruiting guy is feeling PRETTY good about Michigan's chances. But I wouldn't take his word for it, twitter and random message board posters are more reliable.

  • I'm pretty sure trojanwarrior is referencing Justin Davis as the secret best buddy of Isaac that we don't "know" about. I've seen Davis referenced numerous times on the USC board as one of the reasons for USC being so attractive to Isaac.

Yeah that is what I am thinking too.

  • No man, Max Browne committed to USC and the first person he contacted was Ty. Ya know cuz Shane didn't talk to him, that prima donna Morris cancer

No, that is not who I am referencing, however, your point is a good one.

The class that USC is currently assembling for 2013 is a special class...the recruits themselves are putting this class together. I do not throw around the [i/my source is better than your source[/i] card...don't need to, however, those who are aware of my posting history will tell you that I do not just throw something out there for the sake of just throwing something out there.

You can say the same thing, perhaps even more, about Michigan's class.

    Big M

  • TrojanWarrior1 said...

Probably. However, your class does not have the same restrictions on it that the USC class does, and these certain players know that...including Ty. That's what I mean about "special." This class is THE most important class during the schollie sanctions.

    Err..ok.

I think he is trying to say that because of USC's rampant cheating the current commitments know that they are all that stands between 5 years of mediocrity, so it like totally brings them close together or something.

    Big M

  • when you are under restrictions every recruiting class is important there is less room for error your coaches have to be right about a kid

That's cool and all, but the Michigan commits have created one big family and most of the commits are a product of other commits.

Looks like Laquon Treadwell may be visiting Michigan again.

His actions tell me Michigan is on top and no one else is close. Let's hope Michigan can seal the deal on one of these trips.

Agreed I just want us to land a big time wide-out like him.

Unless another WR commits first, he is likely taking official visits and riding the recruiting wave. Still like our chances a great deal even in that scenerio

    Luger

  • Him taking another trip here (number six, right?) before revisiting Ohio would be a good sign. He could be using the funds and time to take an unofficial to any of the many other colleges that he's probably much less familiar with instead.

So Davis, a RB, is somehow recruiting another RB to USC? Not likely.

  • Alright guys, this Isaac thing has gotten totally out of control. I'm to the point that if he decides to come here then great but if not then whatever. With the OL we are putting together and a QB with the potential of Shane coming in missing out on Ty isn't going to kill us. I am more than comfortable with a stable of Deveon/Rawls/Hayes/Norfleet/Shallman. I won't lose a wink of sleep over it if he decides to go out west. I am however concerned about Treadwell (more specifically the whole WR position) and the DL (especially a NT, I really want us to offer Gibbs and get him on board) situation than another RB, our running game is going to be just fine with our without him.

Isaac is special, no question, and I will be seriously disappionted if we miss on him. But Smitdog is right about one thing. With the OL we are putting together, any good RB will be able to run behind it. Offensively, we are going to be like Wisky on steroids and with better skill players. I'm still hoping for Isaac, but one of the great things about the offense Hoke is building is that, unlike a spread, it will not depend on one extraordinary player.
