The VIP tidbit on the USC board?

I can't read the USC board, but certain Irish sites are saying that Isaac is talking about making a return trip to USC next month. That is a change because it was only a week or so ago that Steve Wiltfong reported Isaac had told him he was not taking any more visits for awhile. Sounds like someone - possibly UM or USC - is nudging him to move a little quicker.

Yes- here is what a ND poster posted on the Rivals site:

    Per Scott Schrader of FightOn247:

Irish offered RB Ty Isaac is planning on taking a visit back to USC in May and could be ending his recruitment next month. Schrader feels the Trojans look to be in good shape here.

If he visits USC next month, he's going to end up there IMO.

Yeah I don't like that one bit.

Of course, it could be something that does not end up happening. Will be interesting.

  • As bad as it sounds, Isaac has only been to USC once so far. It could be a possibility that he wants to take his mom this time, and then make a final decision. This is all speculation on my part though.

I think that is exactly the rationale, and that it what makes me think it will be USC if he visits there again. Getting his mom's approval.

I guess we'll see how that compares with Levenberry's decision.

Or could be he really likes them both and can't decide, so he's taking mom to get her opinion on USC and the coaches since she can't help him without ever seeing it.

I want EJ,isaac, Treadwell, and Poggi anything on top of that is just icing for me. goblue

Then 1 WR, 1 DT, and 1 DE to probably round out the class? Maybe that DE spot is used for Fuller?

  • The pessimism on this site is pitiful. Its pathetic, I'm not saying we should believe we will get everyone, but its amazing how a rumor abt Isaac visiting USC has fans thinking UM ( the team that beat out the presumed fav of ND) now in the rear view. I'm starting to think you guys are the fans who overreact with tweets to commits when they say something on Twitter. Just let the process play out,

Icing on the cake all icing.

What's wrong with a man giving away a golden shower? Sounds like a nice gift to me.

No need to worry about this one yet. Unless and until he actually takes a second visit to USC, my money is on the Maize & Blue. And if the second visit actually happens, we will have to see what he says about it afterward. A second visit does not guarantee a USC win.

There's still the distance factor and he knows that Michigan will have a depth of good players along the O-line, those two things aren't changing. We're the favorite in my opinion.

two back to back visits all the way out west would hurt our chances. You're right though, we shouldn't worry until the visit actually takes place.

Clearly we are in a better position if he does not take the second visit. IMO, a second visit would mean that USC is at least a serious player. But Isaac has visited both ND and Michigan multiple times and this is a very big decision for an 18 year old. It's not unreasonable to think he might want to take a second visit to USC too (especially one with his mom) before making a final decision. A second visit doesn't guarantee that his choice will be USC.

  • Isaac deciding in May is good for us. He knows he'll have a great O-line at Michigan and that's still going to be a question mark at USC come May. I know he said that wouldn't be the deciding factor but it's still a significant factor, nonetheless. Michigan has a lot going for it in this recruitment battle, I don't think an additional visit to USC will sway him.

    UMFB

  • Maybe he could be like Gedeon and just be making sure. I think that if his mom goes up then we might be a little worried but otherwise I think Michigan will still be his leader.

USC is now a serious threat to you guys. Better hope distance is an issue here. Don't think Heuerman is the lock tOSU fans have thought since offering. Hearing we lead and it's coming down to Miami and us. This one is a tough one. Looks like decision will get pushed back and Miami will get visit this weekend.
