If Te'o never got catfished we win by 14+

We have hearf about chris bryants run play abilitiessince he was a freshman but he either needed help in pass pro or has been hurt.
In an intervjew with kenny demens he said bryant was his fav olineman and thet, when he pulled, everhone was scsre. And he means SCARED, even rvb and martin. Hope this dudes healthy

That would be my vote for the gaurds, but if Kugler wins the center spot after only fall camp, then we're in trouble on the line again. I know he's very sound technically, quite large, and has had great coaching so far, but he's still only a high schooler. He's never faced the size, athleticism, and skill of defensive players as he will on the BCS level, and he's not been in an offense as complex as it will be at UM. The center's the 'QB' of the OL, and if we have a true freshman with four weeks of practice win the starting spot, then we're in trouble.

I think, and really hope, Miller wins the job as well. He's gotten some good buzz the last two years, and Molk really liked him. I think he has been struggling with putting on the weight; heard he was a bit too small. I've got to think that going into his third year now, he's got be getting to proper size.

Oh it wouldnt surprise me, but that is just what I heard.

I generally want ANY kid to rs, but with tbe numbers we have coming in, if bosch can play they should let him play. I think kt will help us out more in the future if we can give this kid some reps in games.

This is not all that uncommon, and even RR was planning on doing this with Demar Dorsey. Playing CB relys much more on instincts and athleticism, whereas safety requires a lot more diagnosing, calling alignments, and anticipation aquired over time. Probably the reason you often see true fresman make impacts at CB, but rarely at safety.

I personally like it. We really need some bigger corners, and both Dawson and Stribling need some time in the weight room before they'll handle the rigors of B1G play. I think the coaches also mentioned doing this with Delano Hill. Both are 6'+ and both have legit speed (especially Thomas). Now it remains to be seen in either have the hips, acceleration, and change of direction to play corner, but if one or both does, that would be a more than welcome surprise. I have to think that Thomas' long term place is not a situational nickel corner. He may get time there this year, but he needs to be on the field most every down if he develops as anticipated.
