I didn't really see any on the Bucknuts board too upset about it, not much "This is BS" type of stuff...maybe one or two...
I think everyone is in "wait and see" mode for your offense since what we've seen the last 4 years was DRob...Honestly, DRob was a scary dude to defend as he could break one on any play...

Some are, but my favorite are the contingent that clearly never saw Gardner play and are happy because they believe this means two more years of bad Borges' 'spread' and that Devin only runs around like yakety sax in the backfield and throws arm punts. Also they apparently ignore those pesky stats where Gardner led the B1G in passing efficiency. (Caveat is he couldn't officially qualify to be ranked because you need to play in at least 75 percent of games)

No, that's the generally-held opinion. Denard threw 5 picks, FFS, and Vincent Smith threw another, and we still only lost by 7. If we a) have a competent throwing QB and b) have a solid running game, then we can neutralize the ND front. We knew our lack of a great running game would force us to have to win it in the air, and Denard, God bless him, is not a throwing QB.
I expect our 2013 game plan against ND to look a lot like Bama's game plan in the NC, with a little bit more freedom for Gardner to run (since AJ McCarron running looks like a wounded donkey).

Heck, the running game wasn't even totally the issue. We did rack up over 160 yards rushing against one of the most stout run D's in the country. And we missed a field goal after that first interception in plus territory. Denard's terrible excecution is really what did us in. That and Borges' ridiculous play calling that was setting up Denard to be in positions where he is shown he is not good at. Heck, in the third quarter we drove the ball 60-something yards running QB isos with Denard and got it into the endzone, where Denard promptly fumbled right into the hands of ND. It was truely a calamity of errors. You shouldn't lose games when you out gain your opponents by that much.

I just came from reading the DG thread on 11W, and while there are a couple of realistic Buckeyes, there was no shortage of idiots in there haha
http://www.elevenwarriors.com/forum/football/2013/03/ums-gardner-gains-eligibility
And then I realize this is basically what CMXI just said ha

It's just hilarious because even a ton of other Bucknuts in the thread are just ignoring the idiot and nobody else is agreeing with his general dumbassery. I can understand not liking another team, but man - I hope he maintains this level of stupidity so when Devin stomps on OSU and seals the game with his 40th TD of the season his head just explodes.
