I think this topic deserved it's own thread. But I don't want the mods to pin this one.

I thought the Saints were going to be just fine this year.. Looks like it may be a long season..

The San Francisco 49ers have an amazing defense.
The final score does not reflect how dominating the defense was against one of the best offenses in the league.
I shudder to think how loaded the 49ers would have been if San Fran had signed Peyton Manning.

Agreed, I would say no doubt they would win the superbowl if they got P. Manning.
Harbaugh is an amazing coach. I LOVE Hoke, but sometimes I wonder "what if we hired Harbaugh instead"

I think Harbaugh is the better coach but Hoke is the better recruiter

this thurs will be a really fun game. i cant stand the bears but there would be nothing better then seeing the packers going 0-2

Greg Schiano is looking like the real deal though. The Bucs have a bright future with him.

The Lions irritate me, whenever the D gets a stop Stafford stinks it up and with the D featuring a fair few practice squad type guys they won't hold for long.

Brady, Brees, Roethlisberger, and Manning lost yesterday.
What's interesting to me is that Roethlisberger completed 36/49 passes for 384 yards, 4 TDs, and 0 INTs.
Those 384 yards accounted for over 87% of Pittsburgh's offense. This is a passing league indeed.

Didn't realize that stuff would affect the Saints to this extent. Huge letdown for the 49ers, but sometimes that happens in the NFL with an away game. Content with where my Bills are now - not happy, but feeling OK. Would be feeling much better if our RB's could stay healthy. Can't believe Arizona is 3-0. Yeesh. Still not a believer, but I think they've proven they aren't the worst team in the league.
I'm interested to watch the Seahawks tonight. Have thought their D was improving the last couple years (I was on the Red Bryant bandwagon even before he was drafted). Have heard good things about their CB's. I've got a feeling GB might struggle on offense again on the road.

I don't think people realize how important Joe Philbin was to Green Bay as OC.
McCarthy supposedly called the plays but Philbin undoubtedly had a hand in preparing the offense.

The Green Bay Packers were robbed of a victory tonight.
The roughing the passer penalty on Wilson's interception in the second to last drive was disturbingly bad. It sustained the Seahawks drive and allowed them to go into the redzone.
And I don't understand how that is not an interception by Jennings.

It is amazing how Harbaugh's streamlined offensive system has allowed Alex Smith to become a (very) good NFL QB.
I wonder why more coaches can't successfully develop a veteran QB as well as Harbaugh has. For instance, I look at Sam Bradford and I don't see any improvement from his rookie season.

I want Harbaugh at Michigan some time in the future. He could be a legend at Michigan.
