Really quite irrelevant. He would have been flattened and stopped well short of the line of scrimmage anyway. Not sure why Bielema went for a run up the middle in that situation when Wisconsin's O-Line found it impossible to generate any push OR keep the defense out of the backfield all second half. It was basically an announcement of suicide on Bielema's part and come to think of it I know why he did it, he's a meathead.
I think Nebraska's D is okay but nothing special, Wisconsin's O-Line is just bad, not just by Wisconsin standards but by FBS standards. The fact they fired their O-Line coach just a few weeks back speaks volumes. And really, their offensive coordinator is a spread guy who they have running a "run north-south behind beefcakes" offense. Not really shocking their offense looks confused and like a shadow of its former self.

Also, the loss of Russell Wilson to the NFL cannot be understated. He was a talented/experienced/productive QB that excelled at improvising and salvaging broken plays.
Wilson's early success in the NFL as a rookie also reinforces his value.

Yes on the broken plays, but after a bit of game film the big boys in the NFL seem to have Wilson figured out.
Regardless it is very surprising to me that Wisconsin is struggling so much this year.

USC looks soft. Their best player tonight so far Silas Redd. They could get blown out if their not careful. What a shame

Indiana has been getting good pressure of Maxwell too. This is the end of the Cinderella run MSU has been on the last two years.
