Why not? Not that I have any idea other than their current AD didn't hire him. It doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility, especially if ND hammers them, which is certainly possible, if not likely. It's not going to get any better with graduation and sanctions setting in. Maybe let him recruit this year and take the beating next year and then cut him lose. I guess that's sound logic. He's set up to fail at this point. Not a matter of if but when. IMO.

Do you think it's possible that Oregon makes the NCG without going to the Pac12CG? If ND loses, it'd probably be: 1. Alabama 2. Georgia 3. Oregon... Then Alabama and Georgia would play in the SECCG. Winner plays Oregon in the NCG?
I just really don't want to see ND in the championship game

If Michigan (convincingly) defeats Ohio tomorrow afternoon, then Michigan will still be alive for an at-large bid.
However, a lot of things need to happen: - #12 South Carolina will need to defeat #11 Clemson (eligible for at large BCS bid) on the road - #13 Oklahoma (eligible for at large BCS bid) will have to lose to either #24 Oklahoma State this week [b[or[/b] at TCU next week - #5 Oregon will need to defeat #15 Oregon State - #16 Texas has already lost at home to unranked TCU - Either Stanford or UCLA will have to lose. (Guaranteed! See below.)
For the last bullet point: #8 Stanford plays at #17 UCLA this week. If Stanford wins, then the Pac-12 Championship game will be a rematch of Stanford - UCLA. But if UCLA wins, then it will be Oregon - UCLA next week which means that UCLA actually has an incentive to lose the first game since defeating Oregon will be much tougher.

Kiffins going to throw everything he has at us. Might take out a ND player or two, I'd recommend Tuitt and Golson..
