As we've been saying, the SEC schools definitely have a leg up with Wilkins at this point. But Michigan will have its chance to impress him in June, so you never know what will happen.

Here's an interesting hypothetical situation. Let's say that Wilkins visits Ann Arbor before Isaac has made up his mind, and Wilkins is absolutely blown away by the visit. He goes into Coach Hoke's office and tells him he wants to commit. What does Michigan do?
A) Decline his commitment and leave a spot open for Isaac.
B) Accept his commitment and take Isaac's offer off the table.
C) Accept his commitment and leave a spot open for Isaac.

I'm not sure what you mean by "leave a spot" but if you take Wilkins, that's three RBs. No way you take 4 RBs (yes, Shallman is a RB) in one class.

I would take his commitment and leave a spot for Isaac. Just give him Levenberry's spot . That would free up Hayes and Norfleet to move to slot/KR/PR permanently. Where they belong, IMO.

I mean if he's available at the end of the cycle and there is an open spot, you take him because he is one of those top players you take no matter what.

If we get Wilkins and Isaac, Shallman would almost certainly move to FB or H-Back role in my mind. Got the frame for it for sure. But then again, all of this hypothetical.

Isaac also has great hands so he could be potentially taken as an athlete that could take a couple reps at RB one series, than the next series get some snaps at WR. He is a great athlete and someone you take if you have a spot IMO.

Great point. I plan to make it out to some Cordova High games this fall since I live close to the area and check this kid out.

Not really, but son is in high school, has two years to go, then I can move on to better things, other places. A very solid, hard nose RB is needed to compliment the o-line recruits and our other verbal RB.
