Just saying congrats on the Mone commitment. He was my #1 want for DT so I am bummed that he's off the board. You guys got a good one. When I first saw his highlights the name that came to mind was Haloti Ngata. At 6'4", 315 lbs he is almost identical to Haloti coming out of high school. It doesn't hurt that he plays very similar to Ngata and to top it off he goes to the same high school Ngata attended. Coinsidence? I think not. Good get.
Hopefully he'll help your D brutalize those damn Buckeyes. I can not stand OSU!!! From their snide, snakey, seedy, unethical coach all the way down to their arrogant, self entitled, spoiled, obnoxious fanbase. Worst fanbase in CFB by a large margin. Buckeye fan are like Gods herpes. Please do CFB a favor and crush their inflated egos next season. I can't wait until they are USC 2.0 next season. All the hype will just fade away. Again congrats and good luck beating OSU next season.

Obviously without watching him for an entire game you can't really pick up on the conditioning aspect of it, however the rest of the strengths and weakness' are right on point. I think he has the work ethic and a good head on his shoulder's so improving his pad level shouldn't be an issue. He definitely has a lot of power but without improving his pad level that power isn't going to mean a whole lot against collegiate offensive linemen. On the flip side of that I would not want to be the OL trying to defend that speed and hands. He seems like he gets a very very good jump off the ball when it is snapped, and that is dangerous for opposing OL no matter what level you are playing football at.

As nice as that would be, Urban's going to get his recruits. He's too good of a salesman. While there will always be those who see the light (Foster/Treadwell come to mind), he'll still get his.
At the same time, we've got a coach who's recruiting a team that can beat the absolute out of OSU. We're building the Alabama team that ran Meyer out of Florida, and I'm just hoping we can do the same thing here.

You can see what kind of condition he is in by watching full game tapes, which they have on HUDL. If a kid makes a great hustle play by chasing down a running back in the beginning of the game and then at the end of the game he doesn't even chase the ball at all, I'd say your conditioning could be a little better.
