In two days, Michigan has added their top targets at both cornerback and safety in 2015, garnering the commitment of Huber Heights (OH) Wayne safety Tyree Kinnel today.
Kinnel made his seventh visit to Ann Arbor today, but his first since being offered on July 24th. His commitment almost certainly will end Michigan's pursuit of the position in the 2015 cycle.
He joins yesterday's commitment, CB Shaun Crawford, and kicker Andrew David as the third commitment from Ohio in the 2015 cycle for Coach Hoke. He's also the fifth different position (WR, RB, CB, K) to be the first player in his cycle offered by the Wolverines that eventually committed to them.
Kentucky and Arkansas were Kinnel's other two offers, with Michigan State, Ohio State and Tennessee among the other schools who have shown significant interest to this point. The 247Composite ranking, which takes into account all four major recruiting ranking systems, has Kinnel at a 90 rating (four stars) and 313th overall in the country.
