Toledo Central Catholic safety Jayme Thompson scored an offer from one of his favorites on Thursday, and the junior thinks the other program will extend a scholarship soon.

I remember reading on the tBB thread that Michigan offered. Frankly, I'm surprised that we offered another safety in the class of 2013 given that we have Dymonte Thomas committed.

Agree. We also have Wilson and Clark in the fold for this year. I could also see Standifer flipping to safety too.

That is definitely a possibility, and even more so if we pick up the commitment of Yuri Wright this year.

I have no problem with identifying and offering true safeties. We are actually pretty thin at SS/FS. We don't actually know if Josh Furman can play SS because he was recruited to play the spur/bandit or whatever it was called. Based on what we have seen out of Marvin Robinson it is clear that he is athletic, but still slow to read and react.
