I wonder how future stud recruits will re-act to the no visit policy seeing that two guys already broke it with no repercussions?

They're no longer commits and their spot could be filled. Conley could be out because of McQuay or Crawfod and Dawson could lose his spot because of Hunt or Lacy.

The spot can still be taken by somebody else.... THAT'S THE POINT. If he stayed committed, his spot wouldve been guaranteed.

People who question Hoke's policy, simple don't understand it. Once committed, spot is guaranteed.... Once u take visits, u won't be considered a commit and lose the guaranteed spot... It then becomes up for grabs. Michigan is in on several Oline recruits, not just Dawson. It's now about who wants it more.

This past two months on the recruiting trail have been the strangest. Everybody grab your back packs. I am going on a mission trip in Montana, maybe I run into Phil Jackson & we can sit down break bread with some cup of joe & talk about the good old Jordan days.

Yep. People seem to think the policy is "we're done with you if you visit elsewhere," when it isn't.
Of course in some cases (MSU fans, OSU fans), it's willful ignorance because it's Michigan.

Why was is offer pulled then? they just reoffered him. I think what you said is true if the player (ex: conley) is upfront with the coaches. I think if the player isn't upfront and doesn't communicate with the coaches then the coaches will pull the players offer and completely part ways. I think Dawson's situation was i little different and the coaches made an exception because of what he has been through. IMO
