Tonight, Michigan extended an offer to Franklin (MI) Detroit Country Day wide receiver Maurice Ways. It was an offer believed to be coming for some time.
"Coach Borges gave me the offer," Ways said. "They came in today to watch me work out and then later tonight I was able to get on the phone with them and they offered me a scholarship. I don't even know what to say."
Now, it's time to possibly sit down and think about things after getting the offer that's believed to be his most coveted.
"My parents and I are going to talk. I don't know when right now," he said. "We're going to see what to do, what's the best fit for me and the best fit for them. I don't want to rush things though and panic right now. It's not a secret at all how I feel about Michigan. I just want to enjoy the moment right now."
Ways is currently a three-star according to 247Sports and holds offers from Iowa and Kansas among others. He's a two sport athlete who has only played football for a couple seasons. Stay tuned to Wolverine247 for the latest regarding Ways and the Wolverines
