Explosive WR talks Michigan visit

Quick was never interested from what I heard.

Honestly.. with the way things are going. We need somebody to make a decision soon whether it's McQuay, Green, or Treadwell.

The more BCS schools that get in on Jones, the less likely he is to wait for a UM offer.

I personally don't understand why they don't offer this kid. It kinda goes against the way they have seemed to be recruit as far as taking guys that maybe noone else wants, but that have shown them the skill set they are looking for. His tape looks great and he seems to have the size, speed, and hands to be a good receiver. It's a shame a kid like this has to be slow rolled while another kid makes a decision, especially when there is really no way of saying for sure who will be better when it's all said and done. Not saying Treadwell is not a super talent and I wouldn't love for us to land him, but this kid Jones is showing BCS level talent too and because he is not as highly touted and maybe developed a little late, he won't get the opportunities other recruits will get. ijs

Great point about Jones. Unfortunately, the nature of the recruiting process is that every year, there are some outstanding players that slip through the cracks. While his recruitment has gone more slowly than it has for a lot of other more-heralded players, the good news for him is that there is still time between now and Signing Day, and he's very likely to snag multiple BCS offers in the near future. So when it's all said and done, he should have some great options to choose from, regardless of whether or not Michigan offers.

Treadwell isn't as high on Michigan as you want to think. He's a 1 in 3, or 1 in 4 shot right now. and is dead set on taking visits, so he's not coming to a decision any time soon. We may get him, we may not, but the "high interest" stuff certainly isn't being backed up by anything other than what was said months ago at this point.

Jones is going to be getting BCS offers when his SR. year film gets around.. you can bank on that. So the idea that "he isn't going anywhere" is a little short sighted.

until he says michigan is not #1, I'm sticking to my prediction that LT chooses Michigan. He doesn't have any bcs offers yet, so we have time. We will wait. I understand if had 5 bcs offers, that's a different story, but until he gets offers, there is no reason to rush. jones is all michigan whenever hoke offers
