    • Right now I feel Michigan has a really good shot at Carrington but if Oregon ends up offering I would almost consider him a lock for the Ducks.

So .... what does this mean with our chances on Treadwell, Bailey, Harris, and others? It makes you wonder our legitimate changes with the elites.

Note: If we are taking 3-4 WRs in 2013, this is a significant event IMO.

Completely disagree. Carrington was unknown until quite recently and probably just popped up on the coaches' radar. Watch his tape. He's at least a mid-four star guy. It doesn't mean anything about Treadwell and the others - it just means that the coaches have one more receiver they'd love to get.

By the way, I would rank Carrington above the receivers you listed except Treadwell. IMO it would be Treadwell, Carrington, Bailey, Harris.

Second. I like Bailey for two reasons ....

      - Slot (as mentioned)
      - McQuay angle .... package deal?

McQuay is high on my list right now - along with Fuller. I would love to see a closeout of ...

      - Fuller
      - McQuay
      - Treadwell
      - Bailey

    • Where would you guys rank Larue amongst the 4 you have?
Harris is interesting, but I feel like he doesn't bring much else to the table that we don't/wouldn't have with York/Dukes/Treads.

Treadwell, Bailey, Larue, Harris, Carrington, Allen

Unsure how the Allen or Carrington angle affects this discussion. We may see one of these receivers take the 3rd and/or 4th spot, if Treadwell keeps dragging his feet, or is not really interested in Michigan anymore.

I feel good about Fuller for some reason.

I hope Carrington doesn't get an offer from Oregon, as he is the only receiver from California that I think Michigan has a chance with, since he is the only one who will get to visit unofficially.

I don't think Allen goes Blue because he will be sold on someone else's track program. I think at this point there is one WR spot left, and it belongs to whichever of Larue, Carrington, Bailey and Treadwell commit first. Probably Treadwell.

It means nothing, you offer good players no matter what.

I can see that, but Carrington has about 4 inches on Bailey and can still be just as mobile and cut just as quickly. I really like him. Although if getting Bailey means we get McQuay, then obviously I'd take that over just Carrington. JMO

    • Treads, Larue, Bailey, Carrington, then Harris. I really want a slot guy in this class. A true slot. Norfleet could fit there but he's not a pure receiver.

If treads wasn't the best odds for us to get, I would want him 4th on that list

Agree that Carrington is much better than his current ranking. A few talent evaluators think he's the best in Cali. Wish we'd offer Carrington and LaRue. If Carrington wants to commit on visit does UM accept it? If that happens is Treadwell left without a spot or do you guys take 4 WR's if Treadwell wants to commit later in the process?

This is just my opinion but i believe we would take 4 WRs if Treadwell wanted in as well.

    • I'm betting on 4wr at this point. Too many offers still going out for it to just be Treadwells 'saved' spot
