As was speculated to be the case for the past few weeks has finally become official. Michigan has lost a second commitment of the 2015 class as Berea (KY) Madison Southern running back Damien Harris has backed away from his pledge as a Wolverine.
Harris, who was offered after a strong camp showing a couple summers ago, is a five-star prospect who is coveted by pretty much every program in the country. He was also the first offer the Wolverines made in the 2015 class.
Per his mother, Michigan is still the school to beat at this point.
"Michigan is still very much #1 right now," she said.
We will work to learn more about the situation and whether or not Michigan will remain a player for Harris's services.
