In what's turned to another monster week for Michigan on the recruiting trail, they have now gotten the commitment of 2015 four-star running back Damien Harris (Berea, KY/Madison Southern)
Harris was the first offer of the 2015 cycle for the Wolverines and now marks the third straight cycle the Wolverines have gotten the commitment of the first player they have offered in each class. He received his offer after an excellent showing at the junior camp in the summer of 2012. The 5'11"/205 running back has run a timed 4.4 40-yard dash and is considered one of the better overall athletes in high school football.
He was considered a strong Michigan lean his entire recruitment, and this weekend's commitment of George Campbell is likely what pushed it over the top for him.
We'll have more from Harris on his commitment to Michigan as soon as we're able, so stay tuned to Wolverine247.
