Not Todd, but I don't see him getting offered until much later in the season, if at all. In the article (I know it's VIP and this post is not, so will keep it vague), Kenton mentions something about 'What have teams seen now they haven't seen before' which I think is the key. Our coaches haven't seen anything new on him, so until he starts playing games and they get some new film, I don't see them giving out an offer.

I don't see an offer coming. Not that he isn't a good prospect but the coaches have been telling kids we are done recruiting DL.

This is how I feel about him when he committed and how I feel about him now. He is a Wolverine if Michigan has room left on NSD and they offer him then.

I agree dizzo. I really think it depends on what happens with the other recruits. If it comes down to banking a schollie, I think they would rather offer gibbs.

Thanks again, Todd!
Gibbs a smart lineman, and the way he throws his hands is nice. I particularly like his swim move. However, he should work on being a bit quicker off the ball. He's very powerfully-built and also plays guard. I do think he's got the potential to be solid at the next level.

Don't really agree there. Gibbs isn't a "project" recruit. We just have other positions and players higher up the priority list at this point.
If we miss on some guys (McQuay, Fuller, Green. Wilkins) I could see them offering Gibbs later on in the process

I would bank the scholly. We are loaded on the DL after this year. 2 DTs and 1 DE is good enough for me unless its someone elite. You won't see another Willie Henry this year. Depth isn't a concern with the 2012 and 2013 classes.

disagree here...he's obviously a project if the coaches haven't offered him
